The Kunsthalle Basel photo archive contains nearly 25,000 photographs, a selection of which is exposed to the light again, testifying to more than 100 years of exhibition-making at the institution.
An exceptional exhibition in an exceptional institution with an exceptional photo archive deserves an exceptional video portrait. Kunsthalle Basel asked Adam Csoka Keller and Evelyn Bencicova to take inspiration from the exhibition Exposed Exhibitions – Fotoarchiv der Kunsthalle Basel and make a short film that would both represent it and act as an independent object based on their interpretations of it.
