Gucci & Frieze - Detroit Techno

A new musical language was created in the suburb of Belleville in the late 1980s. Fusing European pop with Chicago house music, techno music became a Detroit phenomenon, attracting the attention of late-night TV dance shows on local channels. In this homage to these historical and regional TV shows and the wider genre of music performance TV from the 1980s, a glamorous cast dances to club hits wearing pieces from the GUCCI collection.

About

Born in Slovakia, Adam Csoka Keller is an award-winning film director. After completing his studies at Central Saint Martins in London, his hands-on experiences and early works challenged conventional narratives and pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling. Adam has traversed various genres, from thought-provoking documentaries to commissioned works and branded collaborations. His films are each marked by a distinctive style and a deep exploration of the human condition by reflecting on the intricacies of identity, culture, and society.
